# Going after it

I'm in SF this week with the USV team - once a year we all come out here together, do a bunch of meetings and social events w our portfolio. Yesterday struck me -- and it's amazing how much of a surprise this is to me, after doing this nearly 5 years -- with just how exciting it is to be around people who are executing hard against a big vision.  Four meetings yesterday, with four companies at different stages of development, but the common theme: founders who are _going after it._ Big problem, big opportunity, big fix.  Man, it's exciting.
